Gene, what part of Texas do you live? I live near the Texas border in Oklahoma and am trying to find a place that sells basswood around my area besides Woodcraft. The only other place besides Heinecke I know of is a guy that I met at the show in Grapevine last weekend that lives around Sherman and sells basswood.

Gene,
Great job on the videos. Now that I FINALLY broke down and got high speed I can watch them.

Sam,

Try this link. It has all of Gene's videos.
http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=whittler0507

A youtube search for woodcarving will also find a few more by other carvers.

Hey Gene, what you do is great, I was wondering if you could try a
over the shoulder shot for a better point of view.
I just finished the man figure , now on to Santa.
