Smile Beginners Videos

I just wanted to Thank all of you who have been supportive in me doing these beginners videos on U- Tube ...
The response so far has been great and I now have 21 subscribers and over 890 people have visited and watched the videos .. New videos are being planned for later ..

Iam getting alot of questions now and refering most of them to this website for info ..

I can see there are still alot of people interested in starting carving and with your support .. It helps to know we can reach many who havent tried or thought they could do this wonderful hobby ..

I will try my best to help beginners learn the basics and then you guys are the ones who can lead them down the road to getting better and better ..

God Bless All Of You and Carving

Gene

ME, being the poor old guy up in the frozen North with no cable, needs the videos in the worst way and can't have them. Boo Hoo, whats a fella to do. I offered to pay $1000,00 for the thing on DVD but apparentely didn't offer enough. Did I say $1000.00, heck, I'm sorry, I meant $1.00, see what happens when ya get old, always makin mistakes. Oh well, I'll just keep waitin till Gene needs a $1.00 and then I'll see them as well.

Tucker, there's a book and video by David Sabol on amazon. I can get the book but can't find the video. There was a post on this and others have found both and ordered them. If you can find the video let me know.

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.

Thanks Feb and SCCarnes for the interest. I really don't need any more books or videos, altho I do want Genes tutorial when he gets it ready (as I'm sure others do as well) I've seen it at my daughters home, she's on cable. I would take cable in a heart beat but it won't be available in my area for 10 years. Do the math, in 10 years, I don't think I'll need it anymore given my current age. (smile)
