looks like we have serval similar threads, arleen you wouldnt have a pattern for the cone santa would you? and thanks for doing all the video work and posting

hi rick no i dont have a pattern if you follow the first video of the projects that are the cone projects,, cone santa, cone penguin , calvin the cat,, you will see how the block is cut into a cone,, no pattern needed, and these can be any size as long as the base is square block,,, hopefully i have one more cone idea coming soon

OK I know this is an old thread but I started watching the video and saw where she said that it is hard to cut a 2 sided cut because the cutting rocks. Well I have been doing scroll-sawing for some time and do 2 sided cuts. the best way is to make you first cuts and save the extra. then put them back onto the piece and tape the piece back together with packing tape. Then just turn your piece 90 degrees and cut the other side. then remove you tape and you have a perfect 3D cut. I hope this is clear.
