Default Lynn's video's...

I think he mentioned other ways to save them or something, but I'm not sure where that bit of information is now.
What I wanted to be able to do is fast forward to certain spots. How can I do that?
Thanks..

That's easy! Once the video is loaded just put your cursor on the bar at the bottom and hold down the left mouse button to move the little hand to the right or left depending on what way you want to go. Just watch the screen and stop where you want to begin watching.

That doesn't work for me. I can only get it to advance as far as it has played through. I can't make it go say to the middle of the video if it hasn't played through that far.

Kris:
Note that Lynn said let it load completely first. When you click on the "start" arrow and it begins to play, click on the "stop" button (two vertical lines) to make it pause. Watch the little line that the marker slides on. It'll start to change color as the video continues to download. Once the color change moves all the way to the right, you can then do like Lynn said and move the marker anywhere.

Thanks Claude. Another thing I forget to mention is that it's not right to just skip through to the good parts, if there are any. Along with my free instruction you also have to listen to my philosophy of woodcarving and other mindless mumblings. .

Lynn, I always watch the entire video. Some parts I like to review though.
Claude, Thanks. I am not sure I have figured it out entirely. I still cannot get it to advance very far at a time...only a minute or two. Am I correct in thinking it is entirely loaded if when I click the arrow, it begins to play?...once it does that, I am clicking on pause and then I wait a few seconds and try to slide the marker...but it only slides forward a minute or two. Guess that'll have to work for me.

Depending on your internet connection speed, the entire video make take 5 or 6 minutes to download (that's what mine takes). I get it to start downloading, then click pause and go get a cup of coffee, mug of beer, or whatever, check the laundry, put another coat of varnish on a carving, walk the dog, etc. and then come back and it's completely loaded. Give it enough time that you can see the color change on the progress bar advance to the right hand side...

You're just too enthralled with the video content you can't wait till it's completely loaded. I have the same problem with some of the other video sites I visit (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean, know what I mean??). ).

O.k...I'm going to start it and grab some lunch, then I'll see what I can do. Lynn, I don't know what you mean, yours is the only video sight for me. ;-).

That WORKED. Thanks Claude & Lynn. Waiting for it to load - did the trick.
