Default London Wood Sculpture Class?

Hello, can anyone recommend a class for a beginner in Wood Sculpting in London. I've never done it before and would like to give it a shot! I'm looking for a part time course in the evenings...

There is only one I can find (Sculpture - Carving In Wood At City Lit 28819827)
does anyone know anything about this course, is it any good?

Providing that you are London, England, Chris Pye is about 3 1/2 hours drive from you, and that would be irristible if I were that close to his studio.

The British magazine "Wood Carving" (here know mostly as "...one of the other carving magazines..."! <g>) in its most recent issue has a lengthy list of the years upcoming classes around the British isles.

The portal to their related website is woodworkersinstitute.com.

I should think you'll find what you're looking for there.
