Thumbs up Re: On-Line Carving Classes

We are in our third week of Cyndi Joslyn's Internet Carving Class.

As a beginning carver, I am having a wonderful time carving the Tannenbaum Santa.

This is the first santa I've carved. WOW!!!

Cyndi has done a great job making this class very enjoyable.

I hope this is the beginning of a lot of Carving Classes that can be taken via the Internet.

Paul

Will her class be the same--or will she be doing a different project?

Thanks.

Thanks for asking; my understanding is that we will be doing a different project.

From her Email of yesterday, she has not finalized the project as of yet.

She does know it will be around the 1st of September.

I'm signing up; the Best $50.00 I've ever spent.

Thanks for asking,

Paul

Thanks Paul. Depending on the project and my schedule, I might do the same.

Anyone have pictures of their finished work from the class. I would like to see what people are producing!

Thanks in advance for sharing!

Exclamation Re: On-Line Carving Classes

Hi,

I'm not finished yet, as soon as I have completed the Santa I will post it for all to see. This is my First try at Carving.

Cyndi's next class begins in Sept. I'm going to give it a try again.

I learned a lot in her First Class.

Cyndi's idea of an internet class is a Great for us Beginning Carvers.

Thanks Cyndi,

Paul

I am curious if anyone has heard of any offerings of a free or low-price online course for carving animals and birds? I am having a tough time finding anything near me. I am not really interested in carving caricatures right now; maybe some day. I'd like to give something with hair or feathers a whirl

check out Lori Corbetts site www.whisperingeagle.com not sure she has a complete tutorial on a specific bird but has some very good demos...worth your time.
