Thanks for the pics. I am new at the forum and am delighted to see them. I also carve and woodburn canes and staffs. I am working on a Mermaid one now and my next will be a whole cane done as a jigsaw puzzle.

Mark- real nice work. Any finished photos. Interested in how you did the eyes.

Is there any difference in the quality of the aspen taken from higher elevations when compared to that taken from lower elevations?
