Default Vasa museum in Stockholm, Sweden

I was going to e-mail this link to Bob Squarebriggs directly, because his indepth sharing of model-building on this forum really helped me enjoy the model of the Vasa in the Vasa museum during my visit there, but then, it might be enjoyed by others as well.

Seeing the ship was incredible, with over 500 carvings on it, but the model was painted as it was when it sunk. I spent a lot of time looking it over.

Hope you enjoy the link Bob! Your double decked gun ship hull is terrific.

Thanks Christina, I had not seen that site before. The work that went into building the original Vasa is amaizing, all those beautiful carvings on a man-of-war!!! I hadn't seen the colour images of the reconstructed model, and was flabbergasted at the colours they used. She would have made quite a site on her maiden voyage, too bad she sank.

Thanks for the link, and glad you are enjoying the Tenacious model.

Bob
