Default Not so full of my self :D

Good Morning! I was taking pictures of my new hair yesterday...always wanted highlights Don't worry...this is about carving...lol. The picture that resulted instantly got my carving senses tingling!
Please don't think I am totally into myself! (Only normally self adoring) But I think this profile view shows great lines for eyes, nose, mouth...teeth and even cheekbones. They are highlighted just right, I think to use as a good study of the female face. Anyway, I thought so. This picture reminds me of Burt Reynolds...lol...who knows why? lol

Keoma, I think that profile view would be an interesting challenge for you as a deep relief carving.

I think youre right Phil-I was really caught with the shadow line that defines my cheekbone. Then, I realized...I finally am starting to have my Grandma's nose...

I have had to use a steel pick, otherwise it turns to dreads fast. Just about long enough to donate it. Did Burt Reynolds used to have a mullet or long hair? because I dont see any resemblance, try drawing on a mustache with paint.
