| | Re: Iraq Wildlife Thanks for posting the pictures. Neat birds. I never thought about wildlife, just desert (and fighting). Looks like some pretty wildlife. I would never have guessed Turtles. Is there much water there? I know nothing about the place. My war was Viet Nam, plenty of water, and some really wild critters there.

| | Re: Iraq Wildlife There is water here, just to have it, you got to have money. They do have some marsh lands here and there, two major rivers, Tigris and Euphrates, even got some wild fish. Get away from it and it is arid, dust like baby powder. |
