I'm impressed with the whole carving but the head dress really stands out with the overlapping leaf work. Great job on the eyes as well. The horns attached to his shirt makes me ponder. Did you see that in a reference photo as I was wondering how they would be attached as there is no evidence of rawhide anywhere's. Not a critique, just curiosity. All around a very nice carving. Native American Indians are one of my favorite characters to carve.
