Default what happened at the park

while at the local park with the kids we were feeding the squirels and noticed a lot of chicadees hanging around so my daughter put a bunch of seeds in her hand and they were landing on her hand eating the seeds.so i put some seeds on top of her hat and they were landing on her head eating the seeds.talk about funny my youngest daughter was laughing so hard she almost wet her pants

We had chickadees in colorado and they are one of my favorite little birds! my wife started laying out peanuts and they kept getting closer and closer and finally would land on our hand to eat them...had 3 of them doing that! Eventually, they got to where they would follow us wherever we went on the property waiting for a peanut LOL Oh and I forgot....my wife did carve one!

dave...i guess theres an old man that goes up there and feeds them everyday but i never had a bird that would do that before,we had gray jays at the hunting camp that would get a couple of feet away but nothing like that glad i had the camera when they did it

We got to a nearby park and feed the chickadees. at a particular point in the trail we just hold out some black sunflower seeds and they eat right from your hand, while the area has quite a few species these are the only ones that will eat from our hand...either way its a blast!
