LOOKING FOR STUDY PICS OF CHEROKEE INDIANS. THEY ARE A BIT DIFFERENT IN CLOTHING, HEADDRESS, AND HAIR THAN WESTERN INDIANS. IF ANYONE HAS PICS OR LINKS, TO GOOD PICS, OR LINE ART, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I WANT TO CARVE CHEROKEES AS I AM IN NC, AND WANT TO CARVE NATIVE AMERICANS FROM MY PART OF THE COUNTRY.

Being part Cherokee myself, a few years past, I did a lot of searching the internet for info....there is a lot out there if you look.....sorry, I didn't save much...but even if I had....I just lost my hard drive and everything on my computer

google american Indian thats where i found it the past it's a bunch of info and reference out there.some one posted a link not long ago you can probably do a search at the top of the page and find it

Thuanks everyone! I have done some web searchs, but most come up with Western Indians. I will keep up the search, or maybe I should take a trip up to Cherokee and do some in person research, its only a hour and half from me.

i manage to get more selection on a search when i went to google images, more than if i just went thru google-- allowed me seemed like 100 times more photos-- good luck
