| | Re: animal carving on the corner of a log home We live in a log home. And, on occasion, there are animals that while not carved in it do carve on it. The squirrels especially like the front wooden steps for the salt that's left from our sprinkling it on the snow and ice. Woodpeckers too like to stop by for an occasional peck.
