Default wow good site but need help!

This is a great," Works in Progress..". It's great to see all the new things that you guys are doing, but could someone tell me how to post one .. I would like to post my Roughout Santa but haven't a clue how to put it up there... I know rough outs aren't as important as carving from scratch... but I am learning this way..Curtis drew his own patterns but I haven't the ability to put together a side pattern...so the reason for roughouts for now.. Thanks, Charlotte

I would never say a rough out is not as important as scratch . The only real difference is one is ready to carve , and you give up the get ready time . You have to do the same work , do the same cuts and you end up with what you wanted not what the orginial was.

Now for the information , when you make a posting below the submit button there is manage attachments , this is the loader , hit browse when it come up find the pic you wish to post and hit upload.
If you get a refresh page chances are your pict need to be downsized to an acceptable level . Then should work just fine.

Ash

Hi Charlotte
The pixels need to be 480 tall by 640 wide or it won't upload...

Charolette,

I carve from roughouts all the time but you have to develop the original to be able to to chuck it in the duplicator to make roughouts out of it. Heres a little trick to help you develop that pesky side view.
Draw lines from all the important points on the original pattern. The more the better. Then with just a little imagination just start connecting the lines. I have made patterns from christmas cards and wrapping paper this way. Hope this helps.
