Default Work in progress

Well I guess I am back to being a wood carver for a week or so . Remember the spalted maple , well it has dried out enout to work , so the project that has waited for so long , is under way . I used Susans pattern Face of Glory , thanks Fox . Set it up as a wood burning and did not care for it very much , So well the chisels are out and it is me against the rock maple, but thought you might enjoy the struggle with me so a few pics.

That's going to be one nice carving Ash. I certainly like your relief work. I'm waiting for some inspiration some day to try it myself.

Umm, sorry Ash it is a fantastic carving so far , but I am having some serious trouble understanding the last post. I may be a little old for it or something...? I think I need an interpreter perhaps? Joe.

Ashby, your projects are always worth watching. Great start on the leaves.
