 Wood Spirit in ceder. Well 5 weeks later I have my 6th carving done,and I am hooked bad,thats all I think about,well almost.I took this one to work with me like I always do,and looks like I will be able to purchase my first carving tools,he like the spirit so much,he had to have it,well thats fine with me.Its 20 inches tall 7 inches across.Next I mite carve a pice of driftwood with a wood spirit in it thats in my fish tank,I think that would be really cool. | Re: Wood Spirit in ceder. That's more than one carving a week...reminds me of myself when I first started. We're starting to see your style of carving take shape. Your doing really well and trying some new twist to your carvings. I'd be curious to see one of your carvings with the eyes burned in to keep the natural look. I've been encouraged to do the same so I let the wood grain tell me if I paint or just go with oil. Burning looks really sharp when its only oil being used. Thanks for letting us have a look at your carvings. Patrick |
