Default Wood Spirit in cedar

Another wood spirit done, and I cant wait to do another one.I did this one with out sanding, its harder to get that nice smooth clean finish, with just the tools, but worth it.
I used a natural stain to darken him abit, thought I would try something different for a change.
Lenny.

You gave him a unique look Lenny. I'm not sure if he's sad or just plain tired. That cedar has a nice look to it. Your trying different expressions - that's good. Many of my earlier carvings looked pretty somber. Thanks for giving us a look.

Hang in there son, he's lookin good, but can always look better, like Patrick said, his first were a little different as well. It's like anything else son, ya can't be perfect right off the bat. By the way, when I was talkin to ya on the phone this afternoon, I really did forget it was yer birthday. HAPPY 47TH BIRTHDAY SON, YOUR MOM AND I LOVE YOU.
