Default A wizard for my son

This is a Christmas present for my son based on the pattern by Shawn Cipa in "Carving Fantasy & Legend". I made a few modifications from the pattern.

That is going to be one happy boy Christmas morning! Beautiful job Chuck, and he'll treasure it all the more because you took the time, patience, skill and especally, the interest in his interests to do it. Well done. Ain't being a Dad the best job in the world!?

Thanks for the kind words Bob. Yes, being a Dad is the greatest job on earth! This is a little special surprise for my son as he had his own book on Wizards and things published this past summer. This guy matches up with his main character.

bygeorge-that wizard will make a fine gift for your son because it was made with love.

i have tried to convince my family for years that a gift from the heart and made with love is more valuable than anything bought at the mall.

That is absolutely wonderful! I've been eyeing that book, I'll probably buy it while I'm in Calgary so I can avoid the BC tax.

Thank you for sharing it with us!

Great job on the carving. I also like the design of the flowing robes. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful wizard carving! I know he'll love it.
What book did your son just publish? I know you must be very proud of that accomplishment, and you couldn't have chosen a more expressive way of showing him that!
