Default WIP: My first reall attempt of a Female face

This is the start of my first real try to make a female face, let me know what you think she is about 7 inches tall made of Butternut and started as a 3" x 3" block.

It looks like a good start. I especially like the way you have done the hair.

Faces, I try to avoid the 360 versions, and full figures. I've got 2-3 I've started on and I do keep going back, when I'm feeling sure of what I want to do next. I guess I should buy a book or take a class or two. In my works I see whats there, just have a hard time convincing myself I can do it. Good luck with it, off to a great start. Also thanks for the comment on breaching Whale.

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.
