Default WIP Maidens

Hello,

Thought I would post some pics of my "maiden" sticks. These are the predecessors of my "Hooker" stick that I needed help with and, appreciate getting. The designs are improving as is my carving over the last four years.

Great detail Ron, I like the waves and flowers you put into your work, You do really good female faces that is something I have a hard time with they always turn out like the ugly stepsisters on cinderella.
Lonnie

P.S. I'd give you 4 thumbs up but the forum won't let me do more than 3

Excellent! Glad to see something new on a walking stick. That middle lady is spot on. Are you going to paint her? How did that other one turn out?

Ron, Those are dang nice, more than dang nice. I agree that it's refreshing to see something different on a stick. Well done.

Very well done. I'm always impressed when I see carvers get the female features so well...and on such a small scale. These pics will be going to my reference library.
