here is the gray jay i have been working on. i started painting him the other day here's some pictures

thanks ash theres lots up here.they are pretty tame i heard of them landing in people's hands to grap food. i had them a couple of feet away while cleaning a deer but never had one land in my hand

I agree Ron, very nice carving and paint job. Here in SEK, we have Jays, mainly blue jays, but no gray jay.
Keep us posted on your painting and are you going to mount it with legs or nesting?
