Default WIP: First relief carving completed

Technically this is my first relief carving...one that I have actually completed.
I have several others at various stages that were started before this one, but this is the first one I could actually bring myself to walk away from. :-)

It has since been coated with the infamous boiled linseed oil and will have clear wax over that.

On to bigger and better...

Very nice. I like the clean, simplistic look. My practical side can see it being used as the top of a box. Thanks for showing it to us.
