Default Willie The Police

I finally gite back to carving Monday Willie was the first one. I had lost my tomato paste paint for the blush.I used red oxide. it did not work to good. I need to go to the paint store.

Nice work Arnold! Don't understand your comment about the Blush. I use Red Iron Oxide mixed with Yellow Ochre for my flesh tones and put a little extra RIO in the mix for the nose and back of the cheek.

Can I be critical? Your uniforn, tie, gun, hat are all the same color. While this might be the way it really is you can make areas like the tie and gun holster darker to bust up the single color look of the piece. Just a suggestion.

To make him look even better than he does put him on a nice pedestal. He deserves it!
