Default Why did he go over the mountain?

He was lookin' for the still of course! .... It's a Mike Shipley knock off! I wish! I did my own rough out so I can't blame Mike! This one is only 4-1/2" x 2" x 2", basswood finished in acrylic wash and diluted matte water based interior polyurethane.

Eddy: You forgot to carve his jug. Poor thing is only half-dressed without his jug...

Thumbs up Re: Why did he go over the mountain?

Eddy .. I dont what it is .. but I like your style of cuts you use on the bears .. it's not flat plane .. but it's sort of in between flat plane and conventional carving .. I like it ...

Your painting is so colorful and I think you do a great job on these bears ..

great to look at ..

Gene

Hi Eddy,

Another really fine bear. You must have an extremely steady hande. Your painting is absolutely top notch, really crisp and clean.

I always go outside of the lines.

Eddy, this bear is so adorable! I love your painting . It really looks a little darker than what I think of as a wash...how many coats did you do? I want mine to look just like this one!
Thanks for sharing.

great job ,
i to would like to know how the paint was done,
crisp and sharp,
as for eating the carp, not sure the bear would be smiling like he is now , but if you use lots of mustard it might work. or maybe honey.
thanks for showing .
