Default West coast Raven

Madd of red and yellow cedar with abalone inlay, a bit of paint. About 8" high.

Accoding to west coast lore, Raven stole Sun from Oldman who was keeping it for himself, and released it.

I always enjoy this type of art/carvings. I've burned a variety of symbols similar to this on paddles I have made. Did you get the idea off a website or a book? I'm always on the lookout for Native art.

The time I spent in Alaska, I always enjoyed the native art. I would like to try some of it, can you direct me to some good books on totem poles etc.
Also outstanding Raven!!!!!!!
