Default We all wear a mask of some sort...

I wear several actually Today I have on my artist mask... Oh wait - I never take that one off...thats like a good pair of sunglasses to hide behind !

Howards masks got me all excited and I wanted to share one that I made...not NEEEAR as carved out and/or 1/2 as talented, but I like it a lot! Completely different style, and super fun!

All the wood came from my place, even the moss...I love moss.

Plan on making more of these, with an even more pagan/celtic theme...some carved love knots would be awesome on say a set of lovers masks... I love getting all worked up and excited over a project.

I am heading out to the woods to take some good pictures, but for now, here are a few I took inside. They turned out ok, but this mask Screams OUTSIDE!

Nyaaaaa !

Keoma, I wish I had seen this a couple of weeks ago. I went to a masquerade, and didn't have a mask, because I was simply not inspired to make one.

Yours is very woodsy.

Thanks for showing the pics.

Beautiful, Keoma!!!! Please stop over at the African Mask Tutorial and post a link to this thread. Then those coming into the message board later have another wonderful idea to use.

Pretty piece of wood Keoma! You must be the new "forest nymph" in your forest!
