Default walking stick pictures

here are some things I've been working on suggestions welcome.the last two pics are the wood spirit in sassafras.

I really like your wood burnings Michael, I'm carving one now, just fixing to put a mountain man carving. How did you do your animal burnings did you use a pattern or draw it on the stick.

Mel ,thanks when I first started I would do searches on the web and print the ones I liked and then use carbon paper to trace them on to the stick .then I realised that probably wasn't cool so I started drawing my own or sometime I'll use photographs ,I'll scan them into the computer and using photo editor I'll change them to black and white or gray scale.

Two boys armed with a big stick...nothing can go wrong there! HA! Great looking burnings and the woodspirit turned out pretty cool, too.
