 Re: Walking stick Hello Vic, great job on your first spirits! Keep it up and you will do just fine! I like you carve a lot of spirits and other faces in bark and found wood. I usually don't have any idea for what the carving is going to be, I just start carving and at some point it will tell me what it is, and indian, Santa Claus,or a spirit, ect. GaryMc

| Re: Walking stick Vic, Those spirits are great little guys. Now those have personality. The combination of eyes and noses make these guys just a little whimsical. Tom H

| Re: Walking stick Hi Thanks guys I used the Sumac because i was not sure if i could carve the face and i figured if i messed it up it would not be a big lose.But after carving the Sumac i found that it is a nice looking wood and easy to carve.Shot i might even try another one.i really like takeing my boys and looking for the sticks!!!
