Jax.
They are completely done with a micromotor and carbide and diamond burrs. Just freehand carving with no patterns. Made from Tupelo Gum and will be painted with oils.

Chuffing away as I look at them.


I'm not really into crosses and other religious iconery, but those are very nice. Lots of fiddly little details.

As to patterns, if you have some patience and access to a decent graphics program such as Corel - with Doug's permission, of course -
you can scan a picture of that cross in, then use the trace function. Remove the original photo, save the line drawing left behind and voila! A new pattern!

Don't know about being "chuffed" but they are really "neat". Hope your customer likes them as much as I do. Great design and carving.
