Nice carvings Doug I like them just the way they are. Now be careful when you show them to the grandchildren be ready for some different words again. My grandson's 12 and when I show him my carvings he usually say's. "Those are really sick dude". I have come to realize that means he really thinks they are good. If he didnt like them he would tell me they "Suck". Not bad for a grandpa I am learning a whole new language.

Gary Mc-- Sorry I can't post the patterns but there aren't any. I just sort of penciled a sketch on the wood and started carving. Wish I could be more helpful.

Very nice carvings Doug! I'm sure they will be treasured by any collector. Sure would be nice with a natural finish.

Great job!

Great carving Doug, the details are terrific, what tools did you use? Size, type of wood, acrylic, oils or staining?

Jax.

When I was in high school, they would be COOL. And they are now. What an outstanding job. How tall are they, anyway?

Dang eleanor, I was going to say that as Our Aussie friends say that and I have found out what it means. Oh well. Doug, Those are super and I like them the way they are, but if the customer wants them painted, She will be "chuffed" when they are painted. But to me, That style that great of carving. they need to be Natural. But then I am not the customer.
