Default Via Doloroso (The Sorrowful Way)

This work in Progress is done as a commissioned piece(pieces)? for a lady in Dallas, Texas.I just finished carving them and brought them to the painting room for Mary to make them pretty. (Read paint).
I'll post another pic when they are done.

Doug, they look pretty "pretty" just as they are. Waiting to see them finished, though.

Thanks Al and thanks Eleanor, I think. If I just knew what chuffed meant?

Thank you, Charlotte, but the order was with them painted. If you noticed I took a little artistic license on the twining Dogwood stems as they don't really climb but it looks good that way. When Mary gets the leaves green and the Dogwood blossoms white it(they) should improve in looks quite a bit.

Now if I could figure out what chuffed means.

In the interests of international understanding, I will translate. Chuffed is a mid 20th century British slang word meaning "pleased". As in, "I'm chuffed to bits". Sounds a bit old fashioned now.

Thanks Eleanor. It sounds like a pretty good word for an old geezer like me to have handy. If I can just remember it when I get ready to try it on my children and grandchildren.
