 UPdate on turtle I think that I finally have it roughed out, ready for the detailing and a lot of sanding. I had the base all figured out but, somehow after the final cuts my ideas won't work so will have to drop back and re design. Bill  |

| Re: UPdate on turtle Very interesting composition with the turtle inside the rough wood. That sure makes carving the details more of a challenge. Wonderful and appealing sculpture. | Re: UPdate on turtle Thanks for the coments. This piece is made from Broad Leaf Maple, it has been one of the most challenging pieces that I have started. I hpe to have it completed in a couple of months. Bill |
