| | Re: update on the new tree carving wow its looking nice!!
I do have a question regarding that crack..does it go all the way to the bottom? If so.. why not just cut that second part off...then lay that log flat on the crack part..and then come up with a new carving ? By the looks of it..the two branches will stand up right and could be standing character/animals.
Since the wood spirit looks surprised at the Eagle landing...maybe some other wood like animals on the second peice looking upwards in surprise would fit with the whole scene? Like a bunny looking up in fear.. or fox or beaver... All looking twards that Eagle.
On the backside where the crack would be exposed, a squirrel looking out a hole up twards the Eagle might work too. That would add something to the back of the tree.
There...thats my 'eyeballin the situation'
I just love the look on that Woodspirits face.. I too am anxious to see what you come up with. |

Ron the tree carvings in Kansas I have not heard another thing on maybe my price was too high, or they decided to scrap it. I did contact them again this time they didnt answer my email.
