| | Two Carvings In The Works I've got 3 projects working right now. Only have pictures of 2 though.
The guy with the shotgun still needs his face and hat completed.
The carving on the boot man is done
I still have to figure out the bases or scenes for the guys and do the painting. At my slow rate of speed that should take at least 2 more weeks.
I'll post pictures when they are finished. |

| | Re: Two Carvings In The Works Nice carvings. Great detail. The one pulling his boots on I would make a base with a potbelleid stove next to him. Just a thought.

| | Re: Two Carvings In The Works As part of the base or diorama or whatever for the fella with the shotgun, maybe carve a big old bear standing up in attack right behind him? |

| | Re: Two Carvings In The Works Thanks for the comments.
I hadn't thought about the "waking up" scene. A potbelly stove with coffee going on the lid might work out just fine.
The Bear could work well also. Preoccupied with something in front of the Shotgunner and never noticed the attack from the rear. Have to dig out bear research.
The Boot man and 9 & 1/2 in. to the top of his hat brim.
Shotgunner is 11 & 1/2 in. to the top of his head. When he gets a hat he will be about 12 & 1/2 in.
