Default Trying my hand at an Indian Bust.

I thought I would venture from the norm and try and carve a Indian Bust. This as far as I have gotten today and thought I would show my efforts. It stands 10 inches tall from a peice of basswood. I had a rough out like this that I dropped and broke and am in the process of trying to put back together kind of like a splinter puzzle. So I started this one. Let me know what you think.

You've got a challenging project there Ron. I rarely see you carve this type of carving....thought you more of a relief carver. Well done.

Hi Ron, say that really does look Indian like. Like the rest of the gang can't wait to see the finish or progress. It's so great to see your carving--you truely are an inspiration.
