Default Tree ornaments

Here are 4 dozen ornaments being painted to get ready for Christmas. Probably will have to do this again this summer. Completely power carved from Tupelo Gum and are being painted with acrylics.

Thomp-- The only part of the Tupelo Gum used is the stump part which was below water. They wait until the water has gone down some and go in where timber has been cut and harvest the stump. I don't cut it myself. I buy my tupelo out of Louisiana. I prefer to spend my time carving. Also I have a friend who carves birds all the time and he gives me all his cut-offs which I use for tree ornaments.
