Great first carving and even better, a great story on how it was accomplished. It just goes to show you what sort of people woodcarvers are. Well done Tucker and well done Coffeeman!

Cliff,
I think it was worth the wait. A great looking piece. I wish I had such a great mentor when I started out. I fumbled around for 10 years and finally decided I needed a little help. Discovering things on your own , at least for me, is a time consuming process ;O). Hope ya get healed up as I am looking forward to more of your postings.

Tucker I completely missed your last post but you did a great job on the woodspirit. Funny you should say that about serial killers Deborah Call's daughter said that same thing when I went down to visit with her. Now the daugher calls me a big teddy bear. Bill probably told you we have me I stopped in for lunch with him one day when I was traveling that way. You are right a nicer person you will never find and not to mention one of the most talented men I have met. Again great job and great friendship made. Had I known you guys were getting together I would have come down.
Great job of teaching Bill goes to show team work.
Colin
