Default TJ Semi

Got sidetracked from the Northern Pike by this project. A few years ago our son and wife got us a gift package from Trader Joe's. It came in a nice pine crat, but what the heck do ya do with a pine crate? Well when the new grandson showed up we were about to trash this box and then I noticed the side looked kinda like the side of a semi trailer.....so. Juist finished this toy. He won't be ready for it for a couple years, but I'll store it till then.

Very nice carving Al....your little grandson will have much fun and enjoyment for you watching him play with your handmade carving. A real source of pride I'm sure.

Hi Al,

This tops everything you've ever done, or at least it will when your grandson gets his hands on it. Great job. You're very creative. Good imagination.

Thanks, everyone! This was just plain fun to do....took most of 2 days, but what the heck, it kept me out of Karen's hair! When my grandaughter was born 4 years ago that pretty well took care of my carving time as it all went to toymaking....looks like another bout is coming.

Dan, except for the twin stacks, it's pretty durn solid.
