Default Three owl sticks

Just finished this staff, one of three owl sticks for a customer. After finishing the staff and taking the photo, it looks like ET. Grin. What do you think.

The photo is a little hard to discern, but it sure looks cool! Approx. how long does it take you to turn out a piece like that, just curious?

I have been working on that of and on for about a week. The head was the part that needed the time. I'll post a larger photo in the photo gallery. Thanks

Got to say it........That stick is a Hoot! Great work Hugh, the photo "is" hard to see, until you get it pulled up to the full version in the gallery. Then you get to see all those lovely feather detail! Great work, your customer is going to be a happy hiker. Somethings all white or all black are difficult to photograph, or make out detail. Getting ready to carve a crow cane and running into that problem.
