Default Three Bears

I just finished this piece last week, its made from a Pine Burl approx 12 x 12 x 8 in.

That carving really turned out beautifully. I'm also impressed with the finish of the pine burl. Wonderfully used grain. You obviously have a feel for the anatomy of bears too.

Ih, just beautiful! I love the addition of the marble then walnut base, those bears deserve the best.

Where do you find that wood with the neat bears inside? You seem to have mastered working with figured wood to the best advantage most gracefully. that is an excellent piece!
