, if he is a winter wolf the midsection is fine. You know that animals are my thing and I say he is great. Are you finishing it natural or going to paint it? Excellent job.|

Two things - you might want to consider lowering the hindquarters and back ahead of the hind just a tiny bit so you have maybe a one or two degree slope upwards from the hind to the shoulders. Thing number 2 - see if you can make the tail bushier. Wolves have very bushy tails. Great scenery! There's a spot or two on the hill back of my place that looks very much like what you've carved. |

| Re: I think I am getting close!! Very Good Job there. I carved a howling wolf once and it was a very difficult project to say the least. What kind of finish are you going to put on it? Keep them coming....
