| | Re: Tasting spoon Thats a beauty! Are you going to use it? I am asking cause you said you were going to stain it. I always use olive oil. What do you use? Sorry to souond nosey, I always wondered about sealers... Fantastic spoon. I love the shape!

| | Re: Tasting spoon Well, I wasn't going to use it, maybe give it to someone.
I was just going to stain it a natural color, but they might want to use it and that probably wouldn't be a good idea. Thanks for telling me about the olive oil. How does basswood do with olive oil? |

| | Re: Tasting spoon Beautiful shape.... We've had some previous threads on spoons and sealers. You might want to do a quick search as there was a lot of good info in them.

| | Re: Tasting spoon Its such a smooth looking spoon, plus I like the double bowls, the smaller one at the end of the handle and the larger bowl, would work really good to just taste something with! I like the design you created with this spoon!Very nice carving on your behalf! You are doing great seeing this is only your 2th carving! Keep them coming! Forrest
