Default "It Takes A Worried Man!"

Now here's a fella who is really contemplating a bad outcome! He's the central figure to a new scene I hope to get done before the Dayton show. All the figures have been completed and are setting on the paint table.

The uneven texture of the paint is caused by the pores of the wood. Working small and painting wet cause this as the color is pulled upward. It should even out once the figure is varnished but even if it doesn't it looks okay to me.

No comments on the nice nails. That's my wife's hand!

Nice one, definitely worried, looks just like one of the musicians at our folk club when he forgets the words... Actually the nails made me wonder if you were a guitar player, til I read your post! I await discovering what the scene you are making is about....

Boy you have us wondering what the worry is...my guess, a hanging or a fast wick on the dynamite stick. Bill

Wow that's one small carving. Either something bad is heading his way or his misses caught him up to no good. Can't wait to see the full scene.

Lynn, you're terrible.....you only show us a little piece of the entire picture....when do we get to see the completed work?!!

Oh well, at least a little peek is better than none.....can't wait to see the finished carving! Thanks for sharing, even if it was a tease!! Deborah
