Default Swing doors project

I have been busy working on my swing doors and finally have one panel to show. These are doors my husband made for me to carve on. My next project will be the size of regular doors as soon as hubby can make it for me.

Wow! Krum, you are on your way to some awesome doors! Are those keepers? or a commission? I love relief work, and your design is going to look great when both of the doors are completed Those knots are in bad places too, but they don't look like they have slowed you down a bit.
Great work. I do look forward to seeing the other one carved along side it and the finish on them.
How long do you have in the carving of the one?
Enthusiastically,
Thor

They are for the place I work for. More for display to advertise. And we need some new ones there anyways! LOL The design I had in my head before my hubby made them wasn't quite like this. He made them while I was at work and when I seen the knots...YIKES! So I decided to use the knots and add them into the trees. And it worked out ok I thought. But next time I'll be sure to pick out the wood before he starts one again. LOL I have been keeping the time done. Only as it seems that's the first thing people ask. I don't ask them how long it takes them to change their oil when I look at a car! hehehe Anyways I haven't added it up. And I'll post pics when it's completed. Thanks for looking!
