Default Stylized humming Bird

Well, I have started back in to carving after a few weeks, 7 to be exact.
Here is a butternut stylized humming bird.
Comments welcomed, negative of otherwise

Beautiful! Really like the flow of the silhouette. Setting out on the front porch watching the Hummingbirds feed, they have a certain pose they assume while they're taking a sip. You ought to try that shape for your next one. Just a suggestion.

I was beginning to think, my carving days were over. Well, was thinking anyway, which is dangerous, eh?

Thanks all for the comments. I really like butternut and have some small pieves to try a few designs out on. Theis one was not small and after posting the picture, I realized I should have posted deminisons.
It is a little over 5 inchs long and about 3 1/2 inchs tall.Tried Deft matte finish on this one with a cpuple coats of J and J paste floor wax.

Lynn, Thanks for the suggestion, I have two smaller humming birds started but different style and out of basswood. Thinking about a Flower scene of some sort.
