Hey Keoma
I too, used to use a foredom and a dremel. I lasted about 2 years, then I started using knives and gouges. I would never go back unless I had some sort of physical problem holding me back.

Now the new problem you may not know about! It's tool addiction, be careful it's hard not to want to buy gouge or knife. By the way I recommend the Dockyard Micro gouges, these are some of my favorite tools for detail work, I've had mine for years and are some of the most used tools in my toolbox.
