Thanks to all for the great comments. I think I should have named this a little differently and called it (stairway to paradise). There are only 5 homes on our little road so it really is secluded and yet only about 15 minutes (or less) to out little town, so really, we have the best of both worlds. The water in the background is a river and in the early spring the bottom 2 or 3 steps will be under water for a spell as it is every year, but you should see some of the great walkin stick material that is left behind when it goes back down.
