Default spoons

My better half has been encouraging me to post these. Due to medical problems, I have not been able to carve very much and just feel like I can't do very well anymore. Anyway, the small walnut spoons range from about 3" to 6". The other 3 are about 7" to 9". I started out making a scoop for coffee and have really enjoyed doing spoons. Comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for letting me share.
Mary

I like your style Mary. I'm not sure why but I like the simpler ones the best. Maybe it is the choice in wood. How hard is the walnut to carve?

Mary, those are very nice!! I really like the long one with the heart on the handle. It looks so delicate. I think you've done a wonderful job! Keep it up!

Very nice Mary, I like them a lot. Working on one for my wife in cherry right now. Not sure that was the best choice, lot of hard work and taking a long time.

Nice spoons, Mary! I also prefer the simpler ones. Other good woods besides walnut to choose for spoons are cherry, maple, purpleheart.

Thanks for all the kind words and comments. It really means a lot to me.

Kitaye,
Walnut is a real pleasure to carve and I love the way it looks when finished. Try it.

Claude,
I am looking for some cherry wood, but I have the walnut and sycamore on hand. I also have some maple but haven't tried it yet.

Thanks again everyone for all the comments.
Mary
