Hi all, I have just found this website and it's very useful. I have only been carving a short time but I am proud of my latest spoon which I have put up for all to see. It's my 5th spoon now and each one is getting much better. It would be good to get some feedback of what all you seasoned carvers think. Thanks.

Welcome Andrew, I think you are doing a great job on your spoons. Good style, nice balance to the design, smooth looking shaft and corners and nice finish. Well done. Bob

Nice work... I just brought some cherry logs home from Tennessee and as soon as I figure out a way to cut them down to carving size I'm going to try my hand at a spoon. My wife has been after me for one for the better part of a year now.

Nicely done! I've tried spoon carving and met with relatively awful results. I think I'm going to have to try it again because your's is inspiring. Thanks and welcome to the forum. Linda Ice Cream |
